ON THE ROAD AGAIN - TO WELLS MINNESOTA (ALSO A PARK REVIEW)

Currently in Wells MN (Low 67 Currently Cloudy 69)
Heading to West Salem WI (Currently 64 Showers and Storms High 82)

After a week in Sioux Falls South Dakota we departed yesterday for Wells Minnesota. We departed one day later than planned since it was a rainy day and Jo was not feeling way. We are staying at Pihl's Park, a Faribault County park on Rice Lake.

It was approximately 150 miles along Interstate 90.

We stayed hooked since we were only staying one night. Both GPS devices did not have Pihl's Park as an RV park but was able to get it entered as a county park. The last mile or so was a gravel road. Not really an office and the camp host was in Albert Lea shopping. The guys mowing helped us pick a site since it had rained a lot in the area. The roads were narrow with gravel and sites were rocks but also narrow. It was a 30amp electrical pull thru. Lots of trees so no satellite reception. ATT cellular and 4g signals were strong.

Lifestyle from the front.

To the right.

To the left.

From the rear.

This is a beautiful park in the woods with only a couple of sites that 'might' get satellite reception. The park is mostly permanent residents. We could have gotten water if we wanted to so $20/night for 30amp and water isn't bad.

We depart today for West Salem Wisconsin just east of Onalaska also in Wisconsin. We are in the stretch run of our trip to the Upper Peninsula.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo
