IN WISCONSIN BUT CLOSE TO THE UPPER PENINSULA

Currently in Peshtigo WI (Low 55 Partial Sunshine; Nice High 69)

Peshtigo is very close to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, just across the Menominee River, so you know we had to visit.

We have blogged about how we like pasties, a handheld bundle of goodness that is prevalent across the UP.

We found some very good ones at Col K's Pasty Shop. The beef and rutabaga, chicken and broccoli, beef and cabbage were all good. It was great to add a new pasty shop to our list.

We've got more pasties ahead of us this summer revisiting some of all our time favorites. For now we glad we found Col K's and also that we may have seen the last of the high temperatures and humidity.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo
