UPDATE ON WILDFIRE SITUATION

Currently in Monitor WA (Low 67 Very Warm with Clouds and Sun High 99)

We are safe, other than taking a slightly longer route to get here the largest wildfires in the history of Washington have had little effect on us. This picture looks more ominous than it really is.

Today is the first time we have seen this. We have had some hazy skies and occasionally have smelt smoke but that has been it. After coming from the Los Angeles area hazy skies are nothing to us. Also ironic is that the above picture was taken on the day that the road that we would have taken earlier in the week was opened again.

The heat has certainly been a bigger impact on us this week than the fires.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo
