Currently in Houghton MI (Low 60 Some Sun and Rain High 82)
We tried something new before we left Kritter's North Country Campground yesterday as we scheduled our blog entry to be automatically posted since the 4g in our area was spotty. Seems like it worked pretty good although our Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Yahoo Groups notifications had to wait until we got to Houghton.
After our second ever use of a dump station we headed to the City of Houghton RV Park in Houghton Michigan, one of our favorite parks. Here is the view from our back window.
An image from the web site of the park.
It was approximately 210 miles, this is the route we took.
On the way we stopped and got pasties at Muldoon's in Munising, which was the winner of our 2011 Great Pasty Tour which we blogged about here.
Muldoon's is also one of the few places that have dessert pasties. We got a veggie pasty, a beef pasty and apple and cherry dessert pasties.
It's starting out a little warmer than we'd like today and tomorrow with temperatures in the 80s but the BWE should only be in effect for a couple of days, at least that is what is predicted.
Till next time,
Bob and Jo
Looks like you got the best view in the house for your 6-week stay!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous views. But I want one of those dessert pasties. We will be having beef and sausage pasties when we get to Helena. Love those things.
ReplyDeleteWe ate at Muldoons too when we were in the U.P. for fall colors in 2014.
ReplyDeleteLove pasties!
