ON THE ROAD AGAIN - TO LONG BEACH WASHINGTON

Currently in Long Beach WA (Low 56 Turning Sunny; Breezy High 66)

We left Newport Oregon and headed to Long Beach Washington, a new state for us.

As we were leaving the park we got one last look at the Newport bridge.

Then from the bridge we got one last look at the RV Park at the marina.

It was approximately 160 miles, here is the route we took. It took us about 4 and 1/2 hours though due to the small towns we went through and 4 construction zones, a long day for us anymore.

The bridge from Astoria to Washington comes into view.

We are staying at Andersen's RV Park, our site is steps away from this.

While in Long Beach we plan to visit the lighthouses (Cape Disappointment and North Head), drive the entire peninsula which is the world's longest continuous peninsula beach, visit Astoria Oregon across the bridge and who know what else. Here is another photo from the RV Park's website of Cape Disappointment.

We are so blessed to be able to see this great country in this manner.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo
