NOT ALL DAYS ARE VACATION

Currently in Silver Creek WA (Low 53 Foggy Early then Sunny High 85)

We saw this cartoon recently and really liked it.

Living fulltime in an RV isn't always a vacation. Yesterday was a day just like we were living in our old sticks and bricks place. We cleaned house, did laundry, ran the dishwasher, took showers, etc. Just like in a home we have a lot of these type days. We did find time to go into nearby Mossyrock and have a great burger at the Pioneer Bar and Grill. Anyone who likes burgers should try this place.

We then went back and walked around the park. Here is our Cameo in our site.

Even with all the trees we got a good spot for our satellite dish.

Looking right from out site.

Looking left.

Just a few steps from our front door and this is the view of the hillside garden looking towards Mayfield Lake.

Only the St. John Worts and this hydrangea were in bloom.

More from the garden.

A 100 year old rhododendron.

Walking down the steps into the hillside garden and looking back up you can see our Cameo.

The view of the lake from above.

Steps take you down to the docks.

This is a beautiful park. Today we plan to be on vacation and go to Mt. Rainier, hopefully it will be cooler there.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo

  1. Definitely not every day is a vacation. Since I cleaned the bathroom this morning, that is just life. But Jim is fishing so he's on vacation. lol Have fun at Mt. Rainier.

  3. Looking GOOD! Is Kathy Bates there at the park?! We missed her last year by a month! Enjoy Ranier and St. Helens! We are roasting here in Montana--moving on down the road tomorrow! Houghton, here we come!
