Heading to Long Beach WA (Currently 60 Clouds and Patchy Sun High 67)
Fishtails Cafe in South Beach Oregon is an amazing place to eat. We had been told about the marionberry french toast, homemade bread rounds stuffed with a slightly sweetened cream cheese mixture between two slices, dipped in cream and eggs and then sauteed, topped with homemade marionberry sauce. As they say on the menu, sinfully delicious, but surprisingly not sickeningly sweet. This has been added to "Our Favorite Things! (Food)". Also very good at Fishtails is the "slumgullion", clam chowder baked with shrimp and white cheeses and served with garlic bread. Another image from Yelp.

Today we "plan" to head to Long Beach Washington, Lord willing and the slideout comes in.

ReplyDeleteWe never made it to Fishtails while in Lincoln City! We HAVE to stay where you guys stayed so we can just walk over! Another time.....but you made us Soooooo hungry!!!! Great stuff! We will be back there next year for sure!
