We left Long Beach Washington yesterday and headed to Silver Creek Washington. It was approximately 130 miles, the route we took is shown below and we crossed the Astoria Bridge again and went through Oregon on the way to Silver Creek.
While in Silver Creek we plan on visiting Mt. Rainier.
Not sure if we are looking forward to the heat that is forecast for Silver Creek but seeing the sun more than 4 hours in a week will be nice. We are staying at Harmony Lakeside RV Park on Mayfield Lake and it is gorgeous. We will have more pictures later.

ReplyDeleteI think it's kind of hard to get away from the heat this summer. However, we had a front move through with rain and it definitely cooled us down nicely. But in two days we're going to be back up in the 90's. Mt. Rainier would be a great place to see.
