Houghton MI (Low 61 Clouds with Storms High 71)
With apologies to Eric Clapton, Propane was just bad new yesterday.
Even when we are not paying for electricity we prefer to run the furnace instead of the heat pump. Since the heat pump is in the ceiling and the furnace is below the floor we like the feel and comfort of furnace heat versus heat pump heat.
So we are out of propane and Bob heads to IGA in Houghton. Well they are also out. There is a Ferrellgas location just outside of Houghton so that is the next stop. All their personnel except the office are in a all day meeting offsite so the earliest would be the next day. By now it is lunch time so a stop is made at Ambassador Restaurant for a sausage sandwich and greek pizza. Back at the park we sit outside and eat.
There is a IGA across the water in Hancock so after a great meal that is the next stop on the, if you have not figured it out yet, bad news tour. While that IGA has propane it sprung a leak that morning and had to be turned off. By now Bob's stubbornness has kicked in and he goes to the one place that he knows will have propane, even if it is tomorrow, yeah back across the river to Ferrellgas. Luckily everything is so close around here and we do have a second tank of propane so if we need it we will have it.
A mildly frustrating day but still great to be here and living this great life.

So frustrating. We haven't used much propane since before we left AZ. But Jim can get stubborn like that also.
