Currently in Greenwood NE (Low 66 Humid with times of Sun and Clouds High 88)
After a week in Kearney Nebraska we departed yesterday and headed to Greenwood, also in Nebraska. Our departure wasn't without drama. The switch for the electric cord reel failed and we had to stow the cord in the rear basement area. We didn't take the tour but we did see the Archway at the start of our journey yesterday.
It was approximately 150 miles to Greenwood. This is the route we took.
We will be in Greenwood a week and are staying at the Pine Grove RV Park. Looks like we are in for some more storms.
We will be visiting family in the area and hopefully will find time to tour the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in nearby Ashland.
But first thing today we head to Lincoln and a RV parts place for a new electric cord reel switch.
Till next time,
Bob and Jo
Stay safe in those storms. No storms here but we are going to be 101 this week. Almost as bad as AZ. But the nights still cool down pretty good. Hope you found your switch. Never a dull moment.
ReplyDeleteAlways something.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit with family. Happy 4th of July!
Be careful keep an eye on the weather. Two weeks ago I had an bad experience 100+ MPH winds in a storm at 11:00 at night. Woke up to the TT swaying back and forth I hit the floor with the dogs. When I looked up I was surrounded by EMTs Fire rescue and police. The camper two spots down was on it's side they were extracting the people from the unit. Six other campers turned over one completely on it's roof. No major injuries Thank GOD
