CATCHING UP - REVIEW OF IOWA'S BEST BURGER CAFE

Clear Lake IA (Low 34 Mostly Sunny High 66)

We are a little leery of places that call themselves the "BEST" in their title. "The World's Best Donuts" in Grand Marais Minnesota were not the best, in fact they were not as spectacular as you would think for the title.

But we had to try the Iowa's Best Burger Cafe since we were staying in their RV Park while we were in Kellogg and it was walking distance.

We were pleasantly surprised, not sure if we could say the best burger ever but it was a real good charcoal tasting burger, the best we have had in a long time.

If you are ever in the area, it is right by the interstate (I-80 Exit 173) so easy in and out, give this burger a try and let us know what you think.

The RV Park was a good one too. It is nothing fancy but we really don't go for those kind of parks anyway while traveling across the country. Like mentioned for the cafe it is real close to the interstate but the road noise didn't bother us that much.

Location and price can't be beat as we were about 25 miles from Pella and close to Newton for shopping. We would stay here again, and get another burger or two.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo

  1. Thanks for the heads up. I HAVE to remember to use this site when we get back on the road. We don't eat out much but enjoy visiting good places that fellow bloggers recommend.
