In Bryce Canyon City with new truck bed cover

We were able to get the new truck bed cover on Monday so we got up Tuesday morning and headed to Ruby's Inn and Campground in Bryce Canyon City right next to Bryce Canyon National Park. It was 151 miles and took us about 3 hours. It was one of the more scenic drives we have been on while towing the Cameo. We love Utah and Northern Arizona.

We did have to deal with a time change due to the wacky Daylight Savings Time. Like an old Indian said, "only the white man believes that if you cut off the top of a rope and put it on the bottom that you will end up with a longer rope".

It sure was nice having the low profile truck bed cover again because the frame of the old one made it difficult to get into the truck bed to set the hitch and attach the breakaway cable and power cord. The cover also lies flat while motoring down the road and does not flap around like the old one.

If you are ever in the Page Arizona area we recommend Liberty Auto Works. They got us in the next day for the auxiliary fuel tank since we were travelers and worked us in on the same day the truck bed cover got there so we could leave the next day. Plus the work they do is top notch.

Page is a great area and even though we lost a day and half to for the truck and a day and a half to bad weather we still did a lot. If you have been following our blog you have seen what great scenery we were able to jamb into what time we had left. We plan to visit Bryce Canyon National Park while here and we are sure there will be great photos there also.

Here is the route we took.

Till next time,
