SIGHTSEEING IN THE BAY CITIES AREA

Currently in Peshtigo WI (Low 49 Times of Clouds and Sun; Nice High 68)

There is a lot to see and do in the Bay Cities area. The Bay Cities consist of Peshtigo WI, Marinette WI and Menominee MI. We started a sightseeing tour by eating breakfast at the 'Serving Spoon' in the historic district of Menominee.

We have eaten there many times during our week stay so rest assured the place and some of the food will be added to 'Our Favorite Things!'. The 'Serving Spoon' is right across from the marina so we walked over there and took some pictures.

As mentioned before we were in the historic district with a lot of neat buildings. We like how they do things in the Upper Peninsula, they save and reuse the historic buildings instead of tearing them down.

We then drove along the water to a couple of parks. For the most part there were no turn outs to take pictures so we just soaked in the lake views through the trees and houses. We did take some pictures at Red Arrow Park in Marinette.

It was a great day filled with great food, scenery and architecture.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo
