Currently in Moab UT (Low 60 Currently Sunny 63)
Heading to Rifle CO (Currently 54 Mostly Sunny High 86)
We had stayed here previously in 2011 and thought we would be in the RV sites at the back of the park. We were looking forward to the great views there.
With our previous visit here and our GPS devices we had no trouble getting here. It was a short pull thru, maybe because we came in on a Sunday of the Memorial Day Weekend. Even though it was a pull thru we had to jockey through the park since the site was right where we stopped to walk into the office to checkin.
Once settled in the site the hookups were convenient. We had a good line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish. The Verizon phone service was strong but we guess maybe because of the mountains the 4g signal was erratic and slow even though we were close to the office. The free park wifi was generally better than Verizon 4g. Here is the Lifestyle from the front.
To the right.
To the left with a nice view of the nearby mountains.
From the rear.
We had a good view of the horse stable and track area when sitting outside and reading.
Moab is such a great area with so much to see and do with some good places to eat that we would probably visit again and would not hesitate to stay at this park again. We would be sure and request a site at the rear of the park with the better views.
We depart today for Rifle Colorado. We may not have dependable phone or 4g service while in our park near Rifle. It will give us a good chance to try our cellular booster.
Till next time,
Bob and Jo
