Yesterday we visited Dead Horse Point State Park. How the point got its name is still unclear but one thing is clear, the scenery is beautiful including the road to the park.
The park is very scenic.

A nice lady took our picture at the end of the road overlook.
We talked with them awhile and found out they are also staying at the same RV park as we are. It truly is a small world. We saw a storm approaching so headed back to Moab.
Jo got this great photo of a balancing rock on the trip back.
We stopped on the way back and did some grocery shopping and got sprinkled on as we were walking out then later that evening we got some rain from the storms we saw.
