ON THE ROAD AGAIN - TO NEWBERRY MICHIGAN

Currently in Newberry MI (Low 59 Morning Storms then Partly Sunny High 79)

We had a great time in Sault Ste. Marie (The Soo) but our time to leave came so we left yesterday and headed to Newberry Michigan and the Kritter's North Country Campground. We know it is hard to believe but this was the first time we have used a dump station in almost 7 years of full-timing.

It was a short trip of approximately 75 miles, this is the route we took.

We took this short trip so we could be closer to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and see the falls at Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Plus we have laundry to catch up on after being without a sewer hookup for a week. At least that was the plan, turns out we are in another site without a sewer for another 5 nights. At least we know we can last that long. Laundry may be an issue though. Communications may also be sketchy as the Verizon 3g/4g is mostly 3g and the phone signal is generally 1 tower. We will put up our signal booster and see how that goes. Plus we had other mishaps we will blog about later.

Till next time,

Bob and Jo

  1. Not more mishaps. Sure hope they aren't serious. Bucket list - using a dump station - check.

  2. That's pretty amazing that you went seven years before using a dump station.
