We came back to Kerrville on Wednesday. Here is our review of Braunig Lake RV Resort.
Using both of our GPS devices was a nightmare. For some reason we were on one road and then directed off of that road only to get back on the road a short time later. This happened to us twice. Luckily it was a short trip of only 85 miles. We found out that some GPS devices have the park in San Antonio and some in Elmendorf where we were. If the GPS device thinks it is San Antonio for some reason it goes haywire.
We finally did get to the park and the staff was great at checkin. We were directed to a nice long pull-thru with 50a full hookups and a great line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish. The hookups were convenient. The sites were a little close together for our liking but luckily nobody was placed in the sites right next to us. This could be a problem during peak periods though. AT&T cellular was come and go.
We did get a chance to have a meal that they offered; smoked brisket with pinto beans, corn, salad, roll and dessert. Don't know about any of the other food offerings but the brisket was really good. All things considered a nice park.
Here is the Lifestyle from the front.

From the rear.
We would probably stay here again, especially if it was during the time of year that the park takes Passport America for a discount.
Till next time,
